The restoration and adaptation project of the Vieja Barquita aims to improve the conditions of the Ozama River in the area of the old community called Vieja Barquita. This with the interest of expanding the El Cachón de la Rubia river reserve. In this day we are providing support to the National Botanical Garden and the brigade of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MIMARENA) in the area, with the supply of equipment for the collection of garbage, planting of flora species belonging to this environment and care and pruning of them.
